What is CATCH?
September 4-7 we will be kicking off our CATCH campaign at school. CATCH teaches our students to make healthy life
choices through teaching them about GO-SLOW-WHOA foods.
GO Foods are lower in fat and unprocessed foods. (Ex: lean meats, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc.)
SLOW Foods are higher in fat, and include more processed food. (Ex: low fat milk, dairy products)
WHOA Foods are the highest in fat, highest in sugar and most processed.
The idea is to teach students the difference between each of these foods so that they can make the healthiest choices.
